TTC Bus Involved in Multiple Vehicle Collision in Toronto
A TTC bus was rear-ended by three vehicles in Toronto's Downsview neighbourhood late Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the TTC reported that the bus was picking up passengers at a stop near Sheppard Avenue West and Chesswood Drive when it was struck from behind just before 6:00 p.m.
One individual involved in the collision was taken to a hospital, and the bus driver was treated by paramedics for minor back pain. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
According to the TTC spokesperson, the bus sustained minor damage as a result of the crash and was subsequently taken off the road. No service interruptions are expected.
