Man hospitalised following Scarborough shooting investigation ongoing
A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting incident in Scarborough.
Toronto police were called to the area of Kennedy Road and Progress Avenue just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday following reports of a man shot inside a vehicle, according to a statement from the police on X.
The victim was found by police with serious injuries, which they described as non-life-threatening.
Police are currently on the scene investigating the incident and have stated that the suspect and vehicle descriptions are not available at this time.
Kennedy Road has been closed between Sheppard Avenue and Village Green Square to facilitate the investigation.
