Rihanna Supports Rocky During Court Trial for Gun Charges
Rihanna was present in the courtroom to support Rocky during his trial for felony charges related to a gun incident involving former friend A$AP Relli. If convicted, Rocky faces a lengthy prison sentence.
The singer superstar, who has two toddler sons with the rapper Rocky, sat out of view of the courtroom's cameras, situated between Rocky's mother and sister, in the downtown Los Angeles criminal courthouse. Security brought her into the courtroom surreptitiously to avoid crowds on Wednesday morning.
Rocky, whose legal name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, has been standing trial on two felony charges for allegedly firing a handgun at former friend A$AP Relli, born Terell Ephron. If convicted, Rocky faces a potential sentence of up to 24 years in prison.
Rihanna observed as Relli testified about the incident where Rocky allegedly discharged a firearm at him on a Hollywood street in 2021. Relli recounted that during a heated exchange, Rocky, after an initial confrontation and scuffle, pulled a gun from his waistband and held it in the air.
