OPP Arrests Two in East Region Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Ontario Provincial Police arrested two individuals after executing a search warrant, seizing over 180 grams of cocaine in a drug trafficking investigation on January 27.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that their east region community street crime unit, along with assistance from the emergency response team and the Lennox and Addington County detachment, executed a search warrant on January 27 at a location on County Road 41.
During the operation, investigators seized more than 180 grams of suspected cocaine, along with items commonly linked to drug trafficking.
Two individuals were arrested at the location. A 30-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were both charged with possession of a Schedule One substance for the purpose of trafficking.
The names of the accused have not been disclosed to maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation, according to police.
