The Milwaukee Bucks have become a team to watch in the ongoing Jimmy Butler trade rumours. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Bucks are exploring a deal that could send Butler to Milwaukee, with Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis potentially heading to the Miami Heat.
“If the Bucks find a home for Connaughton, though, packaging Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis would enable them to offer Miami two players who could seemingly boost the Heat's playoff chances compared to playing game after game without Butler,” the report read.
If the trade goes through, it would mark the end of Butler's six-season run in Miami. Over his time with the Heat, Butler has been a key figure, averaging 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 316 games.
