Julia Trubkina Faces Financial Struggles Amid Cheating Scandal
Julia Trubkina, a star of 90 Day: The Last Resort, is encountering financial challenges as she struggles to pay for the medical treatment of her pets. Originally from Krasnodar, Russia, Julia relocated to the U.S. in 2020 to marry Brandon Gibbs, a resident of Virginia. Prior to moving, Julia was a go-go dancer and a bodybuilding champion, but Brandon discouraged her from working in a strip club upon their arrival in America.
In a recent episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort, Julia admitted to cheating on Brandon, which has since been followed by her confession of money issues.
After the episode aired, Julia shared a picture on Instagram of a vet receipt, showing she had paid $1222.64 for her two dogs' check-up. Along with a photo of her pets in her car, she captioned the post, “We just spent our mom's salary.” She extended an invitation for animal clinics to collaborate with her by reaching out.
Addressing their problems, Julia and Brandon went to an Arizona resort to discuss their relationship privately. Although Julia's earlier posts suggested turbulence in their marriage, after her revelation, Brandon reassured her they would find solutions together. His reaction wasn’t as positive when she mentioned kissing her ex-boyfriend.
Interestingly, despite their social media indicating they remain together post-filming, Brandon's lack of financial support for Julia’s vet expenses raises questions. Julia regards her dogs as her "babies," and both equally share a bond with them. Having seemingly spent her 90 Day Fiancé earnings on veterinary costs and without any disclosed job, her financial issues seem pressing. Brandon, who works as a pest control technician, is likely capable of covering the expenses.
Julia has yet to clarify why Brandon couldn’t assist with the vet bills, leading to speculation about whether she will initiate a fundraising campaign like many other cast members have done in previous seasons. Although some viewers critique such fundraisers, they have proven lucrative for past participants. Recently, Julia attempted to start a business selling subscription boxes for dogs, although it appears that venture did not yield success.
90 Day: The Last Resort airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
