Pax Jolie-Pitt has faced a troubling incident for the second time in under a year, as his friends express concern over his reckless behaviour following his latest e-bike crash. The 21-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was seen in Los Feliz, Hollywood on Friday after colliding with a car while riding his bike.
During the accident, Pax was reportedly riding hands-free and zig-zagging before crashing into the passenger side of the vehicle. Photos from the scene show a dent in the white car's door, with the female passenger emerging from the car to exchange details with Pax. Fortunately, he was wearing a helmet and appeared uninjured, although he spent time adjusting his damaged bike before riding off.
This latest e-bike incident follows a more serious crash in July 2024, where he sustained significant injuries after hitting a car that was stopped at a red light. Witnesses reported him complaining of hip pain and suspected a head injury, raising concerns about possible bleeding on the brain. He was quickly taken to hospital but later reported to be in stable condition.
After leaving the ICU, sources revealed that Pax had experienced complex trauma and would need extensive recovery and physical therapy. Both he and Angelina were deeply grateful for the prompt action of the first responders and the quality of medical care received.
However, it seems Pax's reckless riding habits go beyond these two incidents. Reports suggest that he has had 'multiple' e-bike accidents before the July crash and often rides without a helmet, leading his friends to worry about his safety.
Additionally, despite the accidents, Pax has opted not to involve his father, Brad, in his recovery process. A source commented that there remains a significant disconnect within the family, suggesting that Brad's desire to assist is unlikely to manifest due to ongoing family tensions.
In the backdrop of these recent events, it has been reported that Angelina and Brad have reached a settlement in their protracted divorce, with Angelina choosing to forgo spousal and family support, indicating a commitment to managing on her own with an estimated net worth of USD 120 million.
Pax is one of six children in the Jolie-Pitt family, including Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins Knox and Vivienne, amidst reports of strained relationships between Brad and some of his children.
