Rhea Ripley Teases Participation in Men's Royal Rumble Match
Rhea Ripley may participate in the men's Royal Rumble match despite being a champion. She could become only the fourth woman to enter this match, following Chyna, Beth Phoenix, and Nia Jax.
The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble is less than a week away, starting on Saturday, February 1st, with 30 superstars from both the men's and women's divisions competing for a championship opportunity at WrestleMania.
While champions usually do not compete in the Rumble, Ripley has hinted at her potential involvement in the men's match. After successfully retaining her Women's World Championship against Nia Jax, Ripley expressed interest in participating.
“Maybe I'll be in the men's one,” Ripley teased.
The last woman to compete in the men's Royal Rumble was her recent opponent, Nia Jax, who had a strong showing in the 2018 event.
This year’s men's Royal Rumble match features a stacked lineup, including John Cena, which will mark his final Rumble appearance of his distinguished career. Other names include Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre.
In addition to Ripley, the women's Royal Rumble is also generating buzz, with Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, and Bayley confirmed to participate, along with speculation about a possible Nikki Bella return.
