Keys claims first Grand Slam title at Australian Open

Madison Keys secured her first Grand Slam title with a thrilling three-set victory against top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka at the Australian Open on Saturday. This victory propelled Keys from No. 14 to her career-high ranking of No. 7.
With this win, Keys joins fellow American tennis stars in the women's top 10, including Coco Gauff at No. 3, Jessica Pegula at No. 6, and Emma Navarro, who has slipped to No. 9.
Aryna Sabalenka, despite her loss, maintains her position at No. 1, while Iga Swiatek remains in second place following her defeat to Keys in the semifinals. Olympic gold-medallist Zheng Qinwen fell three places to rank No. 8, and former No. 2, Paola Badosa, improved two places after her strong semifinal performance at Melbourne Park.
