Trump to Reinstate Service Members Discharged Over COVID-19 Vaccine Refusal
President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order aimed at reinstating military service members who were discharged for refusing to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, according to the White House.
Under this executive order, those service members who are reinstated will be returned to their prior rank and will receive back pay and benefits.
A White House fact sheet has indicated that only 43 out of more than 8,000 service members who were discharged due to their vaccination status chose to return to military service.
