Trump Promotes No Tax on Tips Policy During Las Vegas Visit
President Donald Trump visited a craps table at the Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was met with chants of "USA! USA!" after outlining his no tax on tips policy agenda.
A video shared by Margo Martin, Special Assistant and Communications Adviser to Trump, featured the crowd chanting "USA! USA! USA!" as Trump entered the casino.
In another clip, Trump was observed stopping by a craps table, engaging with patrons.
The Circa casino shared on social media: "From the stage to the casino floor -- President @realDonaldTrump is meeting the faces behind Las Vegas hospitality, thanking them for their hard work, and uniting with Circa CEO/Owner @DerekJStevens to empower the backbone of our city -- the hardworking hospitality and gaming employees."
Nevada Lt. Gov. Stavros Anthony (R) expressed gratitude for Trump's visit, stating it was a "great turnout to greet him" at the casino.
Anthony wrote, "Thank you, President Trump for coming to the great state of Nevada, downtown Las Vegas. Great turnout to greet him at Circa Casino and Resort."
During his speech on the "No Tax on Tips Policy," Trump revealed plans to collaborate with Congress to advance a bill that aims to reduce taxes for American workers and small businesses, fulfilling his campaign commitment to eliminate taxes on tips.
Previously, during a campaign rally in June in Las Vegas, Trump announced that if elected president, his administration would remove taxes on tips. He reiterated this pledge during a roundtable event in Michigan in June.
