T-Mobile US Inc. has announced its partnership with Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, enabling customers to access texting and data services off the grid. The monthly fee for this service will be $15 after an initial free testing period.
The service is currently in beta mode, and interested users can sign up online to participate. This announcement was made during a Super Bowl advertisement.
Notably, individuals using other carriers, such as Verizon Communications Inc. and AT&T Inc., will also have the opportunity to try the T-Mobile Starlink service on their existing phones, provided they support digital SIM cards.
