Bucks Trade Middleton to Wizards in Exchange for Kuzma
The Milwaukee Bucks have made a significant roster change by trading veteran forward Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards. In this transaction, the Bucks also sent rookie guard AJ Johnson and a pick swap to the Wizards. In return, the Wizards dealt forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. along with second-round draft compensation to Milwaukee, according to sources.
Khris Middleton, who is 33 years old, has dedicated over 11 seasons to the Bucks and played a crucial role in their championship win in 2021. However, he is currently averaging only 12.6 points per game this season, marking his lowest scoring average since the 2013-14 season, as he continues to recover from offseason surgeries on both ankles.
Meanwhile, Kyle Kuzma, 29, is in his fourth season with the Wizards and has been making a solid contribution, averaging 15.2 points per game this season.
