Victorian Underworld Figure Sam Abdulrahim Shot Dead in Melbourne
Victorian underworld figure Sam Abdulrahim has been shot dead in Melbourne's north, as confirmed by the ABC.
A Victoria Police spokesperson stated that officers were called to a car park on High Street, Preston, on Tuesday morning following reports of a shooting.
"Police have cordoned off the area and a crime scene is in place," the spokesperson mentioned.
"At this early stage, police believe the incident was targeted."
Although the man has yet to be identified, two underworld sources confirmed to the ABC that Mr Abdulrahim was the victim.
The ex-Mongols bikie, known as "The Punisher", has survived multiple attempts on his life in recent years, including a shooting at his home in Thomastown in May last year.
In October of the previous year, a gym linked to Mr Abdulrahim was targeted in a firebombing amid Victoria's illegal tobacco wars.
