Trace Cyrus expresses concern for Billy Ray Cyrus amid legal threats
Trace Cyrus has publicly voiced his concerns for his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, following the singer's unexpected performance at Donald Trump's Liberty Inaugural Ball. This performance has left Trace and his siblings—Brandi, Miley, and Noah—genuinely worried about their father's well-being.
In an emotional Instagram post, Trace described his love for his father but condemned Billy Ray's response to his concern, which included a threat of legal action. He stated, "For you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace," reflecting his disappointment in the current state of their relationship.
Trace lamented that he could "barely recognise" the father he once idolised, expressing deep concern about Billy Ray pushing his children away. He mentioned Noah's desire for her father to be part of her life, indicating that he has not been there for her.
Despite the serious concerns shared by his children, Billy Ray's brother, Braison Cyrus, later asserted that the singer is "happy and healthy," claiming that he has developed a better relationship with his father in recent times.
