Fan favourites Anastasia Katselas and Faye Kontos will not be leaving Gogglebox Australia. Despite some cast members departing, these best friends are excited to remain on the couch.
Anastasia, 61, confidently stated, "We'll be there in our rocking chairs," back in 2020. Faye, also 61, expressed surprise at reaching their 11th season, saying, "At the end of the day, we're just normal people watching TV." She added, "We'll be there until they get bored of us."
The show is set to premiere its 21st season in 2025. During season 11, the friends made some changes. Anastasia moved in with her partner, Gabriel Massoud, and their filming transitioned to their new home in Melbourne.
This new arrangement includes a spare room for Faye and new living arrangements. They have even swapped sides for filming, marking a significant change in their dynamic. Anastasia noted, "The dynamics have changed. But the magic is still there - the magic is even better! We're more comfortable."
Anastasia celebrated her first anniversary with Gabriel, affectionately describing him as "the male version of me... but more intelligent!" She cherishes their relationship, stating, "This is the happiest I've ever been. Ever. Ever."
She appreciates Gabriel's intelligence and kind heart, particularly noting a poignant moment when he visited her father's grave, which left her touched.
Anastasia does not prioritise marriage but dreams of traveling to Santorini with Gabriel later this year, fulfilling a long-held wish.
Meanwhile, Faye is on her own journey of healing after the death of her long-term partner, Tony, in December 2018. She shared that transitioning back home has been challenging, but she is grateful for her children's support.
Faye expressed a desire for peace and is focused on rediscovering herself. She noted, "I want to be aligned with myself and get my power back of being me!" In a light-hearted moment, she remarked on her enjoyment of watching television.
Recently, Faye welcomed her first grandchild, sharing her joy on social media, and is excited to embrace her new role as a grandmother.
