Plane Crashes Near Homes in New Hampshire With No Injuries Reported
Surveillance footage reveals a dramatic plane crash that narrowly avoided several homes in a residential neighborhood near Hampton Airfield in North Hampton, New Hampshire, on February 12. The incident, captured by a resident's doorbell camera, shows the airplane dangerously close to houses before hitting trees during its descent.
Fortunately, no fatalities occurred, with the pilot being the only occupant of the aircraft. He emerged from the crash without injuries, as confirmed by Hampton Fire Chief Michael McMahon, who noted that the pilot was assessed by EMS following the incident.
Dave Lennon, the pilot, explained that he was practicing a landing when he encountered trouble. "I was shooting for the end of the runway, and I just obviously didn't make it," he stated. Lennon indicated that he realized something was wrong when he experienced a sudden dip in the aircraft.
Authorities confirmed that investigations into the crash are underway and expressed relief that there were no injuries. "We're grateful that there were no injuries," they added.
