Canva Inc. is expanding its low-cost plans into more emerging markets, following successful adoption in India and Indonesia. The strategy aims to attract price-sensitive customers.
Canva Inc. is expanding its low-cost plans to more emerging markets to increase the user base of its creative design software. The company recently gained traction among price-sensitive customers in India.
Last year, Canva introduced a daily plan priced at 69 rupees (0.79 USD) in India, which contributed to its growth in this fourth-largest market by users. This plan is now also available in Indonesia, and the company is currently testing similar low-cost pricing models in other markets across Asia and Latin America, as stated by Chandrika Deb, Canva's India country manager, during a news conference in New Delhi on Thursday.
