Virgin Australia awarded Best Cabin Crew for seventh consecutive year
Virgin Australia has once again proven its excellence in service by being awarded the title of Best Cabin Crew at AirlineRatings.com's annual Airline Excellence Awards for the seventh year in a row. The prestigious awards are judged by a panel of editors boasting over 200 years of combined aviation experience.
The awards assess more than 380 airlines across various criteria, including safety, value, passenger comfort and innovation. Virgin Australia's cabin crew stood out, establishing themselves as the best in the industry.
Jayne Hrdlicka, CEO of Virgin Australia Group, expressed her pride in the recognition, stating, "We know our people are exceptional and deliver wonderful service each and every day." She highlighted the unique Virgin flair that distinguishes the airline and enhances guest experience.
This year, Virgin Australia also secured the title of World's Best Regional Airline alongside Air Baltic, acknowledging their commitment to excellence in service, reliability, and overall passenger experience. Sharon Petersen, CEO of Airline Rating, praised Virgin Australia Regional for consistently delivering an outstanding travel experience tailored to the needs of regional and Fly in Fly Out (FiFo) travellers.
In addition, Virgin Australia ranked third in the Top 20 Hybrid Airlines category, showcasing its significant impact and growth in the airline industry. Hrdlicka noted their commitment to providing exceptional service, reliability, and performance, particularly in their Western Australia operations, which have been recognised internationally.
The recent wins coincide with Virgin's ongoing investments in guest experience, including the introduction of new aircraft, upgraded interiors, enhanced seating, as well as in-seat power and Wi-Fi.
