Lily Allen and David Harbour Reportedly End Four-Year Marriage
Lily Allen and David Harbour are reportedly ending their four-year marriage, with sources indicating their relationship has deteriorated. They married in 2020 and transformed a Brooklyn townhouse together.
Singer Lily Allen and actor David Harbour have reportedly parted ways after four years of marriage, amid ongoing speculation about their relationship status.
The couple, who wed in a private ceremony in Las Vegas in 2020 after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya, are said to have officially separated, according to multiple sources speaking to People magazine.
An unnamed insider revealed, "Her marriage has been crumbling, and they have split." As of now, Harbour and Allen have not publicly confirmed the split, and Realtor.comĀ® has reached out to their representatives for clarifications.
Throughout their relationship, the pair seemed to embody a picture of happiness, particularly during their time in a creatively decorated Brooklyn townhouse, where Allen's two children, Ethel and Marnie, also reside. The home was showcased in a 2023 feature with Architectural Digest, portraying it as a "mad, mad, mad, mad world" created by the couple.
Harbour, renowned for his portrayal of Jim Hopper in "Stranger Things," praised Allen's vibrant style, stating, "Lily is someone who lives with color in a deeper way than most." The home reflected this distinctive taste, transforming a run-down brownstone into a whimsical haven filled with colorful decor.
The couple's home included a windowless pink primary suite, which Allen described as a "bed womb," while the primary bathroom featured floral themes and a unique layout that turned it into a space for relaxation.
The question remains whether either will retain ownership of their home following the separation. Last year, Allen expressed her disappointment over selling her cherished $5.2 million Cotswolds property due to financial issues stemming from a lawsuit. She referred to the sale as "soul-destroying" and mentioned her continuous check on the housing market for a chance to reclaim a similar property.
Prior to their rumored separation, Allen was reported to have purchased a property in Notting Hill, returning to her West London roots. Meanwhile, Harbour may have retained his New York City apartment, hinting at potential future arrangements.
