CIA Offers Buyouts to All Staff to Align with Trump's Agenda
The CIA has offered buyouts to all its staff in an effort to align with Trump's agenda, providing eight months of pay as the White House braces for increased federal resignations.
The Central Intelligence Agency has initiated a series of buyouts for its entire workforce on Tuesday, allegedly as part of an effort to align the agency with the agenda of former President Trump. This move was reported by Peter Doocy of Fox News.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the CIA is the first government agency to extend such an offer, allowing employees to resign and receive a compensation package that includes eight months of pay and benefits.
Additionally, the White House is anticipating a "spike" in resignations from federal employees, with at least 20,000 accepting the buyouts. This follows a previous nationwide offer from the Trump administration that incentivized approximately 2 million federal employees to leave with similar benefits, which must be accepted before the deadline on Thursday.
