Renee Zellweger has sparked engagement rumours with boyfriend Ant Anstead after appearing at the premiere of her new film wearing a plaster on her ring finger.
She has stepped back into her old screen role - but away from the camera, Renee Zellweger might be ringing in a new chapter of her life.
The actress, 55, sparked speculation that she is engaged to her boyfriend Ant Anstead, 45, at the premiere of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy last night.
Ms Zellweger, who wore a pink Pierre Balmain haute couture gown from 2000 - the year before the first Bridget Jones film was released - was spotted wearing a plaster on her ring finger.
She was joined at the London event by her on-screen love interest, The White Lotus star Leo Woodall, 28, with the pair smiling cheerfully at each other as they posed arm in arm.
Of course, it is possible the actress has simply cut her finger, given she also wore the same plaster to a premiere in Paris on Monday night.
But fans have suspected Ms Zellweger and Anstead - a British TV presenter - might be engaged after they started dating in 2021.
In a recent interview, Ms Zellweger told British Vogue she had settled in Southern California to be with 'my fellow' Anstead and his young son. Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy is out on February 14.
