The 22-year-old Brazilian astonished fans globally with a remarkable knockout at LFA 201 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday (AEDT).
Silva delivered a devastating left leg kick to the head, dropping her opponent Rose Conceicao and claiming the title of LFA strawweight champion.
Throughout the fight, Silva aggressively attempted to land high leg kicks, finally capturing the decisive strike in the fifth round when Conceicao took a heavy hit to the side of the head, collapsing backwards.
Rather than follow up with ground strikes, Silva celebrated her victory as medical personnel rushed to check on her opponent.
The knockout has generated considerable buzz within the fighting community, with viral videos of the finishing move. One popular video shared by a well-known MMA account reached over 128,000 views.
