Man Arrested Following Alleged Shooting Incident in Tallebudgera Valley
A man wanted in connection to an alleged shooting in Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast earlier this week has been arrested in nearby bushland.
Police said the 57-year-old was found by officers searching the area on Sunday morning.
He has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Authorities have been scouring bushland since a 59-year-old man was allegedly shot in the face with a homemade gun at a Tallebudgera Valley property on Thursday.
An emergency declaration locked down several streets for hours following the incident.
On Friday, police said the man avoided most of the shotgun shell and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head and shoulder.
