Scholars Release Report Card on American Well-Being
A diverse group of scholars has released a report card on American well-being, highlighting the contrast between economic success and social challenges faced by the country.
A politically diverse group of scholars, who have advised every president since Bill Clinton and work at many of the top think tanks in the country, released a report card on American well-being. After months of debate, they selected 37 metrics to capture the state of the nation, tracking these measures since the 1990s and comparing the United States with other countries based on economic performance, physical health, mental health, social trust, and more.
