Extra Motivation for A.J. Brown in Super Bowl After Heroic Act by 10-Year-Old
A 10-year-old boy, Trey Howard, is hailed as a hero for protecting his sister during a tragic medical jet crash in Philadelphia, inspiring A.J. Brown in preparation for the Super Bowl.
NEW ORLEANS -- Northeast Philadelphia has been in a state of shock since Friday when a medical jet crashed, killing seven people.
At least 22 people on the ground were hurt, including 10-year-old Trey Howard, who laid on his sister in the car to protect her from incoming debris. He was struck by a piece of metal, which required emergency brain surgery.
When he woke up, he asked about two important matters: whether he missed the Eagles playing in the Super Bowl and if he was able to save his sister.
Andre Howard, Trey's father, described him as a real-life superhero to NBC10 Philadelphia.
The story has reached Eagles' A.J. Brown, who is now days away from playing in his second Super Bowl, and he finds extra motivation from it.
Brown saw the story on social media and expressed his support with a heartfelt message.
