Elon Musk Advocates for Elimination of Federal Agencies at Dubai Summit
Elon Musk called for the elimination of entire federal agencies at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, advocating for a significant government overhaul under his leadership.
In a statement made during the World Governments Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Elon Musk, the wealthiest person in the world, called for a radical overhaul of the United States federal government, suggesting the need to "delete entire agencies."
Musk, who now has extensive influence over governmental operations following his appointment by President Donald Trump as the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency, has been known for sidelining career officials and gaining access to sensitive databases. His approach has raised questions about the limits of presidential authority.
During the summit, Musk was seen wearing a black T-shirt that read "Tech Support" and humorously referred to himself as the "White House's tech support," reflecting his active role in the tech industry as the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla.
"I think we do need to delete entire agencies as opposed to leave a lot of them behind," Musk stated at the event. "If we don't remove the roots of the weed, then it's easy for the weed to grow back."
