Two dead in plane crash in São Paulo Brazil
Two people have died following a plane crash in Brazil involving a King Air F90 light aircraft. The incident occurred in the western part of the city, specifically in an area called Marques de Sao Vicente.
This tragic event has heightened concerns about air travel safety in 2025, as any aircraft incident continues to instil fear among passengers.
In this instance, two fatalities were confirmed, and six others were injured after the small plane crashed into a bus on a busy avenue in São Paulo on Friday morning.
Rescue efforts revealed two burnt bodies in the wreckage of the King Air F90 aircraft. Additionally, a motorcyclist and a female bus passenger sustained injuries from debris caused by the explosion and were hospitalised for treatment.
Four other individuals experienced minor injuries, while all other passengers on the bus managed to escape without harm.
Footage has surfaced showing the moment the plane went down in the early hours of Friday morning. The incident occurred when the small twin-engined plane crash-landed on Avenida Marquês de São Vicente, a bustling street in downtown São Paulo.
The King Air F90 had taken off from Campo de Marte Airport, a popular hub for executive flights in São Paulo. However, shortly after departure, the pilot reported multiple technical failures, leading to the loss of communication with the control tower.
Despite the pilot's attempt to return to the airport, the aircraft lost altitude rapidly, resulting in the unfortunate crash. It is indeed miraculous that more lives were not lost in this incident.
