Deputy partners with 72andSunny for new advertising campaign
The Australian-founded workplace management platform Deputy partners with 72andSunny to launch its first external advertising campaign, aimed at accelerating growth and better serving shift workers.
The 72andSunny team will be responsible for developing the first local above-the-line advertising campaign for Deputy, a global workplace management tech platform founded in Australia.
Deputy provides solutions for businesses employing shift workers, focusing on rostering, timesheets, and HR management.
Established in Australia in 2008, Deputy reached a billion-dollar valuation in 2024 but has kept its advertising efforts internal until now. The company initiated the search for an external agency last year to "accelerate growth and defend market share against competitors."
Kesh Vallot Shannon, Deputy's senior VP of global marketing, stated: "We were looking for a creative agency who understood our market, our customer, and our purpose as a company."
Shannon added that "72andSunny stood out from the pack and their belief in optimism resonated with our internal culture."
Ross Berthinussen, ANZ president of 72andSunny, commented: "We're enjoying putting optimism into action to unlock possibilities with this ambitious team."
He also noted, "Shift workers are a huge part of the workforce and are underserved by innovation. Deputy makes a significant difference to the experience of both the businesses who use it and the shift workers they employ."
