Bill Belichick is one of the rare football figures with too many championship rings for one hand.
Belichick, an eight-time Super Bowl winner, has secured six titles as the head coach of the New England Patriots and two more as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
After a year away from the NFL in the 2024 season, his first absence from the sidelines in nearly five decades, Belichick attended Thursday's NFL Honors event.
Approximately two months into his new role as head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels, Belichick felt the need to remind everyone of his exceptional achievements by displaying his Super Bowl rings on his right hand.
During the event, he also gifted one of his rings to his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, to show off while attending together.
The couple, who has been publicly linked since last year, met three years ago on a flight to Boston. Hudson, a 24-year-old former cheerleader, supported Belichick amid coaching rumors at UNC and has indicated that they are "overtly committed" to North Carolina.
In June of last year, Hudson attended Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony shortly before it was revealed that she and Belichick were dating.
Reportedly, their first encounter ended with Belichick writing a humorous note in her college textbook: "Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!"
