Rocky Flintoff earns century for England Lions against Cricket Australia XI
Rocky Flintoff, son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, scored a remarkable century for the England Lions against a Cricket Australia XI in Brisbane.
The 16-year-old Flintoff, batting at number nine, struck an impressive 108 runs from 127 balls, contributing significantly to the Lions' first innings total of 319 all out.
Flintoff is currently being coached by his father during the Lions tour, where the England team previously suffered a seven-wicket defeat in their opening match.
His century proved vital in helping the Lions establish a healthy lead over Cricket Australia, who currently trail by 72 runs, having reached 33-1 in their second innings.
Opener Alex Davies scored 76 runs, which was the second-highest score of the innings, while Freddie McCann also made a valuable contribution with 51 runs, aiding the Lions in recovering from a precarious position of 161-7.
