A man has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Tracy Iannuccilli, who was fatally stabbed during a struggle for a knife.
The accused stated that Iannuccilli, 44, had attacked him in a fit of rage, accusing her of prioritizing drugs over their two children, who are currently in care.
During the altercation, he claims they tripped over the bed, resulting in the knife piercing her throat. He recalls the tragic moment, saying, "I remember her eyes opening wide when I fell on her. I didn't see where the knife went in."
The man maintained, "I did not try to stab Tracy. I did not try to kill her. I loved her. I did not want her dead."
