AACTA Awards Celebrates Film and Television Stars on the Gold Coast
The AACTA Awards is being held on the Gold Coast, featuring stars such as Robbie Williams and Henry Cavill. The ceremony highlights numerous nominations, especially for Better Man.
The biggest night on the Australian film and television industry's calendar, the AACTA Awards, is taking place on the Gold Coast this evening with local and international stars kicking off festivities on the red carpet.
Leading the way is Robbie Williams, who recently performed at the Sydney Opera House for the ABC's New Year's Eve spectacular.
Also on the star-studded guest list are Henry Cavill, known as Superman, and Russell Crowe, who is hosting the ceremony at HOTA (Home of the Arts).
The 2025 AACTA Awards Ceremony will be broadcast today on Channel 10 at 7.30pm AEDT. A special extended broadcast including all awards from the ceremony will be available from 7.30pm on Saturday on BINGE and Foxtel (Famous and available On-Demand).

This year, leading the nominations is Robbie Williams' biopic Better Man, which has received 16 nominations, the highest ever for a single film in the AACTAs' 66-year history. Close behind are George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and BINGE's How to Make Gravy, each with 15 nominations.
Television has also seen a stellar year, with the critically acclaimed Boy Swallows Universe dominating with 22 nominations, setting a record for any production.
